3 Weeks in Vietnam

Before officially moving back to Boston, Jules and I went on a 2 month trek across Vietnam and Thailand. It’s a trip we’d been wanting to do for years. This photo set is from our first few weeks in Vietnam. Places we visited (in order): Hanoi, Halong Bay, Sapa (in the Northern Mountains), Denang, Hoi An, and Saigon.

5 Weeks in Thailand

This photo set shows just a few highlights from our time in Thailand. We flew from Saigon and stayed 5 days in Bangkok, flew to Chiang Mai for over a week, then flew down to to Phuket and wandered around the southern islands for the rest of the time. In the mix here are shots of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Muah Thai fighting, Elephant riding, some gorgeous beaches, and more temples than you can shake a stick at.

A Week In The Bahamas

Right after we moved back to the East Coast from San Diego, we made a quick trip to see my family in Nassau. We hadn’t been back to visit since our wedding in 2007. These are just a few photos I snapped on my new Canon S90 from afternoons at Lyford Cay Beach, Compass point and Paradise Island. Drinks, spearfishing, and family time. Can’t beat it. Now that we’re back east, we’re hoping to get down there to visit everyone for weekends much more often.

Skydiving on the Mexican Border

What better way to celebrate turning 30? We got exceptionally lucky with the weather that day – clear blue sky, very little wind. And one of my best friends Nate Ritter joined us. There’s a great shot in the middle of this set of Jules hanging upside down that looks like she’s diving from space. Check one more item of the bucket list.
